Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cell and tissue—for results that can last more than two years.
Sculptra is the only FDA-approved biodegradable injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen biostimulator that works deep in the skin to improve its inner structure to smooth facial wrinkles, such as smile lines.
PLLA Microparticles work to stimulate the natural replacement of lost collagen.
It is recommended to have a vial injected per year of age monthly for 3 months. In other words, if you are 40, you should purchase 4 vials and this will be injected over the course of 3 months. If you are 50, you should purchase 5 vials.

SCULPTRA Aesthetic is indicated for use in immune-competent people as a single regimen for correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles in which deep dermal grid pattern (cross-hatch) injection technique is appropriate.
Sculptra Aesthetic should not be used by people that are allergic to any ingredient of the product or have a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring. Safety has not been established in patients who are pregnant, lactating, breastfeeding, or under 18 years of age.
SCULPTRA® Aesthetic is an injectable implant containing microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), carboxymethylcellulose (USP), non-pyrogenic mannitol (USP) and sterile water for injection (USP).
